Featured Artist for April, Jill Krasner

Please join us on Thursday, March 29^th, from 6-8PM for the Opening Reception of Scarlett’s Feathers sixth Featured Artist Exhibit “Birds of a Feather” by Jill Krasner. Known for her mixed media collages featuring whimsical portraits of kooky women with exotic birds, Jill says her work is an expression of her travels along life’s path…a sometimes complicated, frequently challenging journey of love.

Featured Artist for March: Linda Sharp

Please join us for the Opening Reception of “An Artful Hand”, works by Linda Sharp, on THURSDAY, March 1^st, from 6-8PM. The exhibit opens on Monday, February 27^th and runs through Friday, March 23^rd. Linda is a calligrapher who combines the art of beautiful writing with her witty, New England sense of humor to create one- of -a -kind paper art.

Featured Artist for February: Marilyn Rothschild

Please join us at Scarlett’s Feathers on Thursday, February 2nd, 6-8 PM, for the Opening Reception of “A Moment Captured”, works by Marilyn Rothschild. It is such a treat to connect with her subjects through her sculpture. “Sculpture, for me, is a journey into the mood and spirit of my subjects. I am drawn to the expressiveness of the human face and the grace of the human form.”

The exhibit dates are January 30th- February 24th.

I have been busily working on one-of-a-kind hand dyed silk scarves and my one-of-a-kind embellished denim which includes garments that are on display as well as others that I fit and finish to your specifications. These include jackets, coats, vests, skirts, dresses and even some pants. Enjoy the novelty of having something that is yours and yours alone! Sandy Frick is our Featured Artist from November 14th – December 17th.  The Opening Reception is on Thursday November 17th from 6-8pm and everyone is invited!   Stop in and see her work and talk with her.  This collection is delicate, playful and swimmingly beautiful.
